Meine Interessengebiete umfassen die allgemeine Ökologie und Süßwasserökologie. Meine Dissertation  beschäftigt sich mit Charakteristika und Mechanismen der Kohlenstoffdioxid- und Methanfreisetzung der Talsperre Bautzen.
